SAVE FOR AWARDS

Finally, a hack to help art directors leave earlier than copywriters.

This one hits close to home. After years wasting hours preparing files with different specs for every award show, I thought there had to be a better way of doing this. 
And there was: before vibecoding was a thing, we actually handcoded a Photoshop plug-in to automatically resize, prepare and export images in the specs required by 20+ of the most important awards shows globally.

All because we're really nice people, right? Yeah... kinda :)

At that time, Innocean was a small, up and coming agency in Berlin, trying to hire more top creative talent to keep the agency growing.
So, we hid a little trojan horse in our file. After exporting their files, creatives would be shown a little recruitment ad from us, right inside Photoshop, encouraging them to apply for a job at the agency. Because they were the people we wanted to hire: ambitious, driven and already doing award-winning work.
How's that for micro-targetting?
